After their analyst’s accidental death, a group of patients – who do not know each other – attend a wake in Bucharest. Each remembers conversations with the dead man- and their dreams turn towards the Orient.

Wake for the Analyst is a meditation on the cultural constrictions of the psyche, and the longing for some other identity that trespasses beyond daily life.
